Why not build one general-purpose product instead
It would be simpler to build a single configurable platform and adapt it to whichever industry asks. We've chosen not to, because the problems a tour operator has with seasonal pricing and a retailer has with till reconciliation don't actually share much surface area once you get past the surface-level "manage some records" framing. A system built specifically for one industry can make sharper decisions about what matters, instead of hedging with generic configuration options that satisfy nobody particularly well.
Built to run a real business, not to demo well
Every system we operate is judged by the same standard: does it hold up under the ordinary, unglamorous pressure of a real working day — real bookings, real messages, real sales — not just a walkthrough. That standard shapes decisions throughout, from how we isolate customer data to how carefully we handle the moments where automation should hand a decision back to a person rather than guess.
