Who we are
Adcoar Ltd ("Adcoar", "we", "us") is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy explains what personal data adcoar.com collects and why, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions — the name, email address, phone number (if provided), and message you submit through our contact page. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Basic technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies — a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie, both strictly necessary for the site to function (e.g. submitting the contact form securely). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies on this site.
We don't ask for payment details, ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this site.
How we use it
Contact form data is used only to respond to your message, and is retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and keep a record of it, after which it may be deleted. We don't sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we don't use it for marketing you haven't asked for.
Who can see it
Contact form submissions are visible to Adcoar staff with admin access to our internal dashboard, and are emailed to the team inbox responsible for handling enquiries. We don't share this data with external parties except where required by law.
Your rights
Under Kenyan data protection law, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of this, contact us — since we hold very little personal data in the first place (mainly contact form submissions), these requests are usually simple to action.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page directly rather than notified individually, since we don't hold ongoing subscriber relationships through this site.
